Emmanuel provides an outstanding standard of education for its pupils. The key to the school’s success is the headteacher’s great ability to facilitate and develop team working skills amongst all her staff. Every teacher is expected to be a leader and they carry out their work with enthusiasm and commitment. – Ofsted 2007
We are very proud of our 2007 OfSTED outstanding judgement but it has meant that OfSTED will not visit us as frequently as some other schools. However, we belong to a national organisation called Challenge Partners. This is a teacher-led national network of schools focused on improving school performance through peer-to- peer challenge and knowledge sharing. Each school involved with Challenge Partners receives an annual Quality Assurance Review. This review is a peer review involving senior leaders from other schools in the partnership. The review focuses on School Improvement Strategies, Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and Outcomes for Pupils. We welcome this so that we keep our school and our standards under constant review.
