We recognise the importance of the role of the parent as a child’s first educator. A working partnership between school and home enhances the educational development of the child and so helps raise attainment. At Emmanuel we regard any help that parents feel able to offer their child(ren) at home as extremely worthwhile.
In Summer Term 2017, we carried out a questionnaire, to find out what parents/carers and pupils thought of our homework arrangements.

Following this consultation, we have made some changes to our homework policy; here is our updated Homework Policy.
Homework is uploaded onto the class Google Classroom each Friday, and it needs to be completed by the following Tuesday.
